Job Description
The Corporate Controls Engineer will work on controls and automation projects to install new manufacturing systems and upgrade existing manufacturing systems in all manufacturing facilities across the US. Will provide on-site support for controls and automation activities at the Manufacturing Facility.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop/Install/Commission Plant Controls & Automation Systems, including PLC Programming, HMI Development, & MES Data Collection
- Controls & Automation Systems Technical Support, utilizing the Daisy Brand HELP Desk System
- Design & Specification of Plant Control System Architecture, including Control Panels, Hardware, and Communication Protocols
- Develop/Enforce Process Controls Standards
- Partnership & Direction of 3rd Party Controls Engineering partner
- Commission VFDs
- Travel to other internal sites (up to roughly 25% of the year, one week at a time max)
MUST HAVE:
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a controls engineer
- Bachelors in electrical engineering, automation or similar field
- Advanced ladder logic programming within Allen Bradley PLCs
- ControlLogix experience
- Advanced HMI Development
- SCADA experience
- Liquid movement controls experience (food or chemical manufacturing environment support)
NICE TO HAVE:
- MES experience
- Food and beverage industry experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Wonderware (Aveva Archestra) experience
- .NET experience
- SQL experience
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $160000.00/yr.

Relocation assistance:
- Lump sum amount at completion of relocation.
- Full cost of real estate commission for the sale of home (up to 6% of the sale price) to be paid upon the sale of home & proof of purchase submission. This amount is taxed, but the amount will be grossed up to cover the taxes.
- Reimbursement for the full cost of a professional pack and move service to be paid upon completion of relocation to the Wooster, Ohio, area and proof of purchase submission. Reimbursement requires three bids and approval by Daisy Brand prior to finalizing mover. This amount is taxed, but the amount will be grossed up to cover the taxes.
- Sign-on bonus , paid in the second week of employment.
