Job Description Our test lab is used for validating multiple robot designs in development. The Systems Engineer is responsible for maintaining, validating and troubleshooting these systems, working closely with the development teams. Aside from technical skills, strong ownership and ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers will be key to success in this role. Major duties and responsibilities include: * Own and maintain a large lab with test fixtures and robots. Manage robot configurations, code releases, post-release smoke testing. * Automate the deployment and validation of firmware and software code changes. Create innovative physical test automation mechanisms and fixtures * Conduct basic troubleshooting and triage of systems issues, e.g. connectivity tests, wiring checks, configuration/release issues. Work closely with firmware, hardware and electrical engineers to drive troubleshooting. * Create mechanisms and best-practices for reliable operation of the lab system $50/hour to $60/hour Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
