 Role - Intercompany Analyst

 As an Intercompany Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate reconciliation of intercompany invoices between our NetPay process participating countries within EY. The NetPay process is the centralization within a single team the matching of open positions between AP and AR accounting from participating countries. You will collaborate closely with the Central netting team to maintain financial integrity and facilitate seamless financial transactions, while ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the process.

 

Key Responsibilities include: 

Intercompany Netting: Review intercompany invoices from various business units, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Match intercompany invoices on both the AP and AR sides to ensure consistency and detect discrepancies. Detect the missing document and provide the receiving country with them. Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with our participating countries local member firm in order to understand the discrepancies and have them corrected. Ensuring a follow up on the correction requested, and disputed invoices. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare weekly reports shared with all participating countries to inform them about the actual situation of each of their invoices in the other countries. Calculate once a month the different payment flow based on all open and correct positions between two countries. Make sure that all countries are processing their payment following our payment report. Provide to our participating countries the support required to apply their received payments. Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and legal requirements. Assist in internal and external audit processes as they pertain to intercompany transactions.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have 

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Minimum of 12+ months of experience in Financial accounting transactions Experience with ERP systems, as well as general accounting software’s and preferably SAP Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a strong focus on team effort. Good communication skills both written and verbal
