To manage the overall daily operation in the absence of the manager supervising and giving the staff direction thereby ensuring that the customers expectations are met or exceeded
Key Performance Areas
Conduct regular checks to confirm adherence to standards
Resolve escalated customer queries and complaints and provide feedback to customers on matters resolved
Ensure all staff are up to date with latest product offering
Measuring queue lengths and taking corrective action if necessary
Implement hygiene and cleanliness routines in all areas of responsibility and report all maintenance needs
Ensure that staff is dressed according to SOP at all times
Ensure that all workstations are manned at all times
Ensure quality control measures are completed and standards adhered to at all times
Responsible for effective Asset management within projection area
Assist with motivating and training of staff to implement
Maintain safety/ security regulations
Train and manage cashiers to meet the standards of competency required
Drive customer service and relations in line with quality and performance standards
Control credit card transactions
Requirements
Grade 12
Post matric studies in management business sales or related field will be an added advantage
Worked in a similar role in the Retail environment for 3 years
Personal Flexibility in terms of working hours including Sunday holiday work and night work
Salary Market related
