Description
We are in search of a Controller to be an integral part of our team in Seattle, Washington. The Controller will be tasked with overseeing the full range of accounting activities, including managing the general ledger, facilitating financial reporting, and maintaining precise records in our ERP system. The role will involve collaboration with external auditors, providing support to internal project teams with budget tracking and job costing, and delivering financial insights to the leadership team.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, which includes managing the general ledger, handling accounts payable and receivable, coordinating payroll, and carrying out bank reconciliations.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and internal reports.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial data and project reporting within the company's ERP system.
• Provide project managers with job costing, budget tracking, and financial insights to improve project performance.
• Liaise with external accounting consultants and auditors to guarantee timely filings and thorough audits.
• Uphold compliance with GAAP and other relevant financial standards and regulations.
• Clearly and concisely present financial results and analysis to the leadership team.
• Assist with the forecasting, budgeting, and analysis of variances.
• Establish and uphold accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Supervise and provide support to an Accounting Clerk.
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000.

Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in 3M
• Experience with Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Proficient in using CRM
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proven skills in Auditing
• Experience with Budget Processes
• Strong Leadership Skills are essential
