Description We are on the lookout for a dedicated part-time Controller to join our dynamic team in the creative food industry, located in Hanahan, South Carolina. As a Controller, you will focus on a range of accounting functions, including month-end close, bank reconciliations, and managing Accounts Payable and Receivable. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity where you will work closely with our CPA firm, providing an integral contribution to our team of 15-20 employees. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage month-end closing procedures • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy • Handle Accounts Payable and Receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurate and up-to-date • Utilize QuickBooks desktop for various accounting tasks • Collaborate with the CPA firm on a regular basis for financial matters • Monitor financial activities, making necessary adjustments as needed • Keep track of the company's budget processes • Maintain comprehensive records of all accounting activities • Use CRM and Accounting Software Systems to streamline processes • Manage workload effectively, especially during the end of the month when tasks are more demanding.
