Job Summary:Â The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities within the company. This role includes managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing finance and a proven track record of driving financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to management.Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances, and implementing corrective actions as needed.Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.Lead and develop the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings.Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and improve financial performance.Prepare and present financial reports to management and the board of directors.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Benefits:
