BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

BS/BA in Finance or Business, MBA is required. 10 years Finance experience (preferably in manufacturing environment) Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Our state-of-the-art investment casting facility in LaPorte, Indiana is seeking a Controller to join our Finance team.    Nestled halfway between South Bend and Chicago, along the shores of Lake Michigan - our facility in LaPorte, Indiana supplies jet engine components to some of the most trusted names in the Aerospace industry. 

This position is responsible for location Financial Reporting, adherence to all GAAP, and Howmet policies and procedures, and practicing risk management and ASAT compliance for all aspects of controls.  This position also provides Financial leadership and data analysis for development of alternatives and solutions used in management decision making, as well as preparation of budgets and forecasting and corresponding financial accountability. In addition, this position is accountable for developing financial acumen in the location lead team as well as developing direct reports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Preparation and analysis of location P&L results Preparation of budgets and forecasts and analysis to actual performance Review of financial statements and account reconciliations Data analysis for decision making and tracking performance progress SPA for ASAT Objectives – Analysis, Revenue and Management  Calculations of location key metrics Review and Maintain contribution margin analysis 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES – Job responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Controller for LaPorte Casting, Transportation Services and Logistic Services Provide onsite tactical leadership of the Procurement Team and drive overall performance, serving as liaison with BU Procurement Director SPA for location ASAT Location compliance to all policies and procedures Accountability for validity of location financial statements and representations Management and development of Finance staff Assure accurate, current and complete information for government contracts Communication of location results to plan and to performance objectives Provide Financial leadership for evaluation of projects, plans and investments Performs other work-related duties as assigned This position supervises the Finance Department
