responsibilities\r\nProvide leadership to Finance department by managing resources, overseeing accounting function, partnering with cross-functional teams, fostering relationships with vendors, participating as member of leadership team, and collaborating closely with President as financial advisor\r\nMaintains and enforces a documented system of accounting policies and procedures\r\nResponsible for cost management, analysis and reporting, including monitoring labor costs, purchasing, cash flow, production costs, sales trends, and implementing measures to reduce expenditures and waste\r\nManage outsourced functions\r\nOversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives\r\nEnsure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner; ensure awareness and communication of costs, prices, and accuracy of invoicing \r\nEnsure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable\r\nEnsure that accounts receivable are collected promptly\r\nAct as back up to payroll processing, including preparation of reports, files, collection of hours, and resources\r\nEnsure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed\r\nMaintain the chart of accounts\r\n\r\n
