Ketjen Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Albemarle Corporation, is currently seeking a Control System Engineer at our Bayport, TX site. The Control System Engineer, an essential partner and member of the E&I Team, plays a key role supporting the Chemical Plant. This position will support I&E design projects as an individual contributor and support a team of designers and engineers supporting multi-discipline projects. **Responsibilities** + Experience with Instrumentation specification, sizing and design, including flow, pressure, temperature, level, power is required. + Responsible for P&ID development for instrumentation and electrical. + Knowledge of Electrical Hazardous Area Classifications for instrument/electrical equipment selection required. + Experience with pressure relief valve and rupture disk sizing and specifications. + Must have plant field experience, including instrument/electrical loop-checks, configuration, troubleshooting, new equipment set-up and start-up assistance. + Will be responsible for providing coordination and support of I&E design/drafting activities, including instrument indexes, Instrument Data Sheets, location plans, wiring diagrams, installation details, etc. + Responsible for definitive project design work, including scope development, project cost estimation, definitive design work, purchasing, reporting, scheduling and liaison with construction contractors and vendors. **Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. + 7+ years engineering experience in the chemical/petro-chemical industry with at least 3 years of instrument/electrical design experience. + Knowledge of applicable code, requirements, standards (NEC, ISA, OSHA, NFPA, etc). + Familiar with DCS and PLC design and installation. (Infa 90, Plant PAX) + Ability to work with all levels of plant personnel, from wage roll to plant management. + Computer skills: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Adept (Document Managment), SAP (Project Module) and AutoCAD. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills _(Unsolicited Third Party Resumes Not Accepted)_ Choose to unlock your full POTENTIAL.
