Control Program Manager

As a Control Program Manager in the Cross Border team, you will be responsible for maintaining the control program framework for Cross Border adherence. You will be directly supporting a Program Lead who is responsible for core components of the Cross Border framework and support defining & implementing the Strategic Cross Border Program. Your responsibilities will include defining robust end-to-end cross border framework processes, driving efficiencies, identifying and escalating issues and control gaps with a sense of urgency and closely partnering with 1st line, 2nd line, and advisory and support functions. 

Job responsibilities

Becomes a subject matter expert on core components of the Cross Border Framework Leads working groups including deck creation, minute taking, action tracking, establishing and managing project plans that drive the development & execution of program strategy and strategic program workstreams Identifies & defines cross border controls and effectively assesses effectiveness of existing ones Manages program BAU components including procedure management, intranet, user guides, CORE Partners with key stakeholders to identify, set and execute against Cross Border control priorities Vets with technology priorities, dependencies for program support, enhancements and budgeting  Engages with control colleagues across PB business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit and technology to identify, define and execute against Cross Border control practices  Supports business engagement coordination during preparation & responses to program-wide compliance tests, audit and exams related to Cross Border Supports establishing global consistency and sustainability of Cross Border Control Process

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Project management experience to lead working groups that define, drive and execute complex and robust initiatives  Demonstrated success in partnering with multiple stakeholders and ability to work across cross-functional teams  Understanding of PB business including associated products, services, regulatory/control requirements Results-orientation and demonstrated ability to influence and drive change and best practices  Excellent communication skills and ability to interface globally with multiple levels of the organization, from senior management to subject matter experts Financial service experience in controls, program management, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
