We are looking for a Contract Specialist to join our legal team!

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Specialist to join our team at Farnell in Krakow. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of contract administration, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Your primary focus will be negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts to mitigate risks and optimize business outcomes. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and procurement teams, to facilitate efficient contract processes and support ongoing business operations.

Job Summary:

Contract management including developing, assessing, analyzing and executing contracts, agreements or other binding documents. May include risk management, specification compliance, scope development, and ongoing compliance with terms and conditions through execution.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required. German language skills (written and verbal) is required.Knowledge of Computer – good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and ability to learn quicklyAble to remain calm and diplomatic at all timesAbility to work independently with exercise of judgment and discretion.Passionate about learning new thingsGood attention to detailExperience with international or Polish lawBeneficial to have worked in a global organization with a matrix structure.

What will you be doing?

Prepares, reviews, negotiates, and manages various standard contracts for the organization to ensure compliance with business requirements, corporate policy, and all legal and regulatory requirements for the US, APAC and EMEA region.Works in the negotiation of existing contractsReviews NDAs, T&Cs, various master agreements and ancillary documents.Provides unique services and assistance in support of global business relationships between regions, in collaboration with the global legal teamIdentifies contract requirements and risks; provides redlined recommendations; resolves issues, concerns and problems for assigned aspects of contract negotiationOther duties as assigned.
