Contracts Specialist
Job Title: Contracts SpecialistJob Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Contracts Specialist to manage and maintain the annual team calendar and related documents for a team of attorneys and risk management professionals. You will coordinate attorney calendars, manage appointments, and oversee project statuses and deadlines. Additionally, you will provide essential administrative support to the Legal team, enhancing office effectiveness, and ensure the renewal of numerous required Federal and state registrations, business, and professional licenses. Responsibilities + Manage and maintain the annual team calendar and related documents for a team of attorneys and risk management professionals. + Coordinate attorney calendars and manage appointments, project statuses, and deadlines. + Oversee and manage the shared legal email inbox. + Provide administrative support to the Legal team and enhance office effectiveness. + Support and process firm vendor applications. + Provide professional licensure support for the team. + Coordinate travel, conference registrations, and calendar coordination for the team. + Support the team with professional development, writing, organization, and editing content. + Process and code invoice payments. + Develop, implement, and maintain a training library. + Manage and ensure renewal of numerous required Federal and state registrations, business, and professional licenses. + Support marketing and business development functions by providing corporate qualifications and legal information for proposals to clients. + Learn and develop technical proficiency in contract and documents database use and management, as well as electronic file maintenance. + Assist with special projects as needed. Essential Skills + 2+ years of experience in a contracts or legal environment, supporting an attorney or contracts manager. + 5+ years of administration experience. + Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in contract administration and procurement. + Paralegal skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. + Experience with legal documents.
