Contracts Risk Administrator
Location: Shelton, CT Job ID: #70516 Pay Range: $70,000-85,000 The role will be full time, hybrid work, including two days onsite in the Shelton CT office per week. The Contracts Risk Administrator will support senior management by performing various functions to reduce or eliminate risks associated with the company’s operations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
+ Provide clerical and research support including document review and document creation,
+ Interacting with outside counsel and casualty insurance carriers,
+ Perform research and fact checking,
+ Speak with interested parties to pinpoint and reduce risk involved in agreements,
+ Schedule and implement internal audits of controls to determine their limitations and offer methods to enhance them,
+ Convey best practice viewpoint to senior management,
+ Meet with outside counsel, clients, and other professionals to discuss potential and existing contracts,
+ Draft responses to documents including terms and conditions within contracts,
+ Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources, providing written analysis to senior management,
+ Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve contract files, which may include NDA, Service Agreements, exhibits, and other items,
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
+ Proven work experience as a Contract Specialist or similar role.
+ Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts.
+ Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
+ Ability to draft contractual agreements and terms.
+ Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
+ Attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or relevant field.
Physical Requirements:
+ Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
+ Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
