**General Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Negotiator to join the fast-paced and high-volume Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) Team within our dynamic legal department. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating and finalizing NDAs from cradle to grave. This role requires strong organizational and multitasking skills, the ability to learn and negotiate Qualcomm’s preferred T&Cs, and a positive, “customer service” attitude.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Business, Political Science, or related field and 3+ years of Contract Administration experience or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree in Communication, Business, Political Science, or related field and 5+ years of Contract Administration experience or related work experience.
OR
High School diploma or equivalent in in Communication, Business, Political Science, or related field and 7+ years of Contract Administration experience or related work experience.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
• 5+ years of contracts negotiation experience
• Experience with Agiloft or similar contract lifecycle management (CLM) system
• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Business, Political Science, Law or related field
**Principal Duties and Responsibilities:**
• Drafting and Reviewing NDAs: Prepare, review, redline and revise NDAs to ensure they meet Qualcomm standards and legal requirements, manage execution and upload to contracts management system.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with customers, vendors, and partners to secure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks in contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Elevate to management as needed.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal clients to understand needs and communicate with external parties in a positive and professional manner.
**Level of Responsibility:**
• Works under some supervision.
• May provide some supervision/guidance to other members.
• Responsible for own work. Impact of decisions is readily apparent.
• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be complex to others who may or may not have knowledge of the subject in question. Role requires influence, cooperation, tact, and diplomacy.
• Most tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.
• Creativity is needed to draft documents and respond to proposed redlines.
• Deductive problem solving is required to solve complex problems.

**Pay range** **and Other Compensation & Benefits** **:**
$84,000.00 - $126,000.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
