Join us. **Job Description** **Responsibilities** + Assure that there is full compliance with the Contract Management standards and contractual terms and conditions in the execution of the contract administration activities, and manage the reporting of areas or instances of non-compliance + Manage commercial relationships and ways of working with _Contractors_ and / or _Consultants_ to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of _works_ and _service_ s + Review draft contracts and ensure they are fit for purpose and tailored to project in question, co-ordinating inputs from advisors where required (e.g. legal, technical, financial) + Lead contractual negotiations and provide guidance to _Project Manager and/or Services Manager_ , where necessary, and Programme Director + Review and acceptance of subcontractors and acceptance of subcontract documents in line with the contract. + Certification of payments including an assessment of Defined Costs for Option C and E contracts + Auditing of the contractor’s (or consultant’s) accounts to ensure that costs are captured correctly + Review forecasts prepared by the contractor (or consultants) and assess the painshare or gainshare due to the contractor in respect of Option C or D contracts + Undertake delay damages calculations if required + Establish category / programme contract management strategies, and review and approve individual contract management strategies + Set the target for KPI’s in Incentive Schedules within NEC contracts and review the contractor’s performance against these + Create the Key Performance Indicator library for those categories / programmes for which they are accountable + Review and approve (if appropriate) _Contractors_ and / or _Consultants_ performance evaluations, and where appropriate / necessary oversee the establishment of c _Contractors_ and / or _Consultants_ proposed performance improvement plans + Oversees the administration of all elements of contractual terms and conditions from proposal stage through contract close-out and audit. + Directly and through subordinates, assists all departments in developing contracts within company policies. + Examines estimates and delivery schedules. + Prepares bids, process specifications, test and progress reports and other exhibits that may be required. + Negotiates complex contracts on large projects, customers or bidders. + Manages a team of contract administrators. + Serves as group/department or technical lead. **Experience** + 15+ years experience of contract management and administration with at least 3 years of NEC experience + Knowledge of monitoring _Contractors_ and / or _Consultants_ performance + Significant experience in, and understanding of, claims management + Experience of establishing _Contractors_ and / or _Consultants_ performance management frameworks + Knowledge of Key Performance Indicators for _Contractors_ and / or _Consultants_ organisations, and experience in building a Key Performance Indicators library + Experience in administrating contracts, in particular the NEC suite of contracts + Experience in developing individual contract management strategies, and implementing those strategies **Qualifications** **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
