A great mining company in Kuruman, Northern Cape is seeking the expertise of a Contracts Manager to join their team of professionals. 

Responsibilities

Ensure profitable delivery of Production function and that production targets are met Oversee engineering function to ensure that machine availability is maintained Promote & establish a strong Safety Culture Oversee Survey & Mine planning Project delivery in accordance with project/mining plan Ensure that all allocated resources are utilized efficiently and cost effectively

Requirements 

Grade 12 Diploma / Degree in Mining or Civil Engineering Mine Overseers / Mine Managers Certificate 8 – 10 years’ experience in an opencast mining environment 5 years’ experience in a management role

Benefits 

Salary: R1.6M/yr – R1.8M/yr, salary negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)  Training & Development
