As Contracts Specialist you will:
\r\n\r\nInfluences successful business outcomes to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income and free cash flow for new and continuing programs. Provides business, contractual and risk mitigation strategy guidance. Analyzes new laws, regulations and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives. Protects the interest of the company by understanding and interpreting contractual terms and conditions. Utilizes working knowledge of regulations including Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR supplements (e.g. DFARS) and other agency regulations. Analyzes significant and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies and procedures. Manages the contractual review of solicitations, proposal development, contract change control process and overall contract administration. Establishes and maintains primary contractual interface with the customer. Maximizes cash through innovative contract formation and negotiation to achieve business objectives.
\r\n\r\nA successful candidate should be able to:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSenior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management.\r\n\tManages complex projects or processes with general oversight.\r\n\tCommunicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.\r\n\tMakes moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes.\r\n\tContributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
This is a 12 Month Full-time Contract opportunity.

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tStrong vocabulary and Contracts knowledge\r\n\tTechnical change management is helpful\r\n\tSenior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management.\r\n\tApplies skills to makes moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes.\r\n\tWorking knowledge of regulations including Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR supplements (e.g. DFARS) and other agency regulations.\r\n\tBachelor’s degree with Contract Experience\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Required Soft Skills:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tContributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tManages complex projects or processes with general oversight.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Preferred Skills:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tProgram management Experience\r\n\tStrong legal writing skills are helpful\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Education / Experience:
\r\n\r\nBachelors in Various disciplines as long as they have strong competency in Government Contracts
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Pay Rate: $45 to $50 per Hour
\r\n\r\n*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
