Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Contracts Analyst due to current and projected expansions in our business. We are in need of additional assistance in Risk Management Services to review and comment on various types of contracts, undertake legal research related thereto, and assist in the development and refinement of a new Contract Management Software solution.

Responsibilities Comprehensive contract review and feedback encompassing legal provisions, applicable statutes and internal policies. Coordinates with various departments and committees to ensure compliance with requirements contained in proposals, contracts, NDAs, etc.Confers with requestors to develop and assist with preparing appropriate contracts, amendments, teaming agreements, NDAs, etc. Responds to questions concerning the interpretation, requirements, terms and limitations of contracts and legal agreements.Negotiates contract provisions with clients or subconsultants as needed. Performs research through various methods to determine conformance of proposed contracts (e.g. public contract, government, labor codes, contractor’s state license board, prevailing wage laws, etc.) for the purpose of making recommendations for proper compliance. Attends trainings, workshops, or other professional development events to maintain current knowledge and identify emerging trends related to assigned duties.Collaborates with RMS team in research and updates to Carollo Standard Forms, as required. Handles correspondence to and from RMS in a confidential manner, as required.Assists in the editing and preparation of the firm’s standard engineering contracts.Assists in research and preparation of specification provisions for construction documents.Reviews specifications for periodic updates needed for legal changes.Prepares correspondence, reports, and agreements as directed. Researches company legal issues including corporate law, qualification to do business in various jurisdictions (domestic and foreign), and miscellaneous matters, using the Internet and Westlaw. Researches foreign countries’ entry requirements for employees traveling abroad on business (visas, etc.).  Prepares or oversees state-by-state business and company professional filings. Qualifications Outstanding oral and written communication abilitiesProficient with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and ExcelProven organizational skills; detail oriented2 years contract review experience Preferred Qualifications 4 year college/university degree3+ years contract review experienceExperience with legal research Pay Range

$30.00 to $45.00 per hour. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
