Contracts Administrator II
Overview Goldbelt Hawk designs, develops, and implements comprehensive solutions for problem spaces, including computer security, scalable architectures, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and network/data center operations. Specializing in local and enterprise-level incident response and forensic analysis, Hawk's personnel deliver threat analysis and reporting while implementing solutions based on mature planning and development practices. Summary: Must work onsite at Goldbelt Hawk’s corporate office located in Newport News, VA. Employee must be able to multiple-task simultaneously and assist in management activities across the organization. Must be a solid team player. Work situations include dealing with people; working alone; making judgments and decisions. Travel may be required on occasion (less than 5% of the time). Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Contracts and Subcontract Administration functions to include labor and funding burn analysis and Government required monthly deliverables. Assists in the review of contracts/subcontracts terms and conditions, Non-disclosure/Proprietary Info Agreements, and Teaming Agreements. Familiarity with contract compliance and reporting including FAR, DFARS, CAS, SCA, DBA, and SBA. Assist in RFP responses, to include compliance matrix, pricing, and price volume narratives. Assist with budget and financial analysis. Backs up Director of Contracts and assists in contract administrative and management duties as needed. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Understanding of government procurement policies and processes. Great communication skills with internal Team and external with the Government and Teaming Partners. Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and working within deadlines. Proficient in Excel and Word. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 3-5 or more years of Government contracting experience. A strong understanding of Government Contracting and acquisition processes is required. Must have a strong background and experience in spreadsheets and other business assessments as it relates to profitability analysis and risk assessments. Preferred Qualifications: Government Contracting Accounting background with familiarity on contract types (FFP, T&M, LLR, & Cost Plus) preferred.
