Contracts Administrator

Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for a Contracts Administrator to join our team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN

Supports Legal Department attorneys in the development and maintenance of contract templates and in the preparation of contracts. Maintains contract details in software programs for BHS Legal Department and BHS entities. Generates and distributes standard contract reports as requested by the Chief Legal Officer or Legal Department attorneys. Supports Legal Department attorneys in the development and maintenance of contract templates and in the preparation of standard contracts. In addition to the primary responsibility of contract administration, Contracts Administrator relieves Legal Department attorneys of designated administrative duties. Contracts Administrator utilizes legal office skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database skills; assumes responsibility without direct supervision; performs work of a highly confidential nature; and, makes decisions within the scope of his/her authority. Contracts Administrator must demonstrate flexibility, initiative, good judgment, knowledge of internal and external customers, broad knowledge of organization and company policy and procedures.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required

Associate degree or 7 years’ experience in required areas may be substituted in lieu of a degree

Experience as a secretary, paralegal, legal assistant, contracts administrator, or in other administrative assistant role required.
