Global Contracts and Claims Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to define contract management strategy and contract formulation. Each day, you will ensure that all contract management activities are tendered, negotiated, and executed in accordance with the contract negotiations handbook / contract management framework and relevant group/division/business directives and instructions, including company procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by reviewing and commenting on contract terms and conditions and annexes to the contract/frame agreement. The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation business and Energy division.You will be mainly accountable for:• Supports the Contract Manager(s), who has overall responsibility for Contract Management services/support to the local divisions/Hubs and BLs.• Works with Contract Manager(s) / Project Managers to ensure that main contract requirements and appropriate contract flow-downs for purchase orders and subcontracts are achieved, including assisting with contractual and commercial aspects of project close-out.• Works with Contract Manager(s) to prepare contractual and commercial correspondence.• Assists Contract Manager(s) / Project Managers to develop and prepare project change/variation proposals for the client.• As directed, supports global contract management initiatives. You will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the roleMinimum 5 yrs. of experience, with EPC energy/process plants related projects background. Has experience / background in contract management, legal and/or construction contracting. Contractual and commercial background knowledge to ensure contract compliance, overall commercial integrity, and delivery. Good background and knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction project management. Ability to multi-task, with excellent organizational and time management skills to achieve project goals. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
