What we're looking for: 

The Contract Specialist is an established performer that is responsible for assisting with the financial aspects of contracts, from negotiation through execution and closeout. This role involves reviewing contract terms, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and working closely with various departments to support the financial integrity of contract management.

 

 

What you'll do: 

· Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

· Assist in the negotiation of contract terms, pricing, and payment schedules.

· Maintain a comprehensive database of all contracts, tracking key financial metrics and milestones.

· Conduct financial analysis of contract proposals, including cost estimates, pricing models, and profitability assessments.

· Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts related to contract performance and obligations.

· Monitor contract budgets, expenditures, and variances, providing insights to management for decision-making.

· Ensure all contracts comply with relevant financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

· Identify potential financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

· Work with Legal and Compliance teams to address any contractual issues or disputes.

· Serve as a liaison between Finance, Legal, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure cohesive contract management.

· Provide training and support to staff on contract-related financial processes and procedures.

· Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding financial aspects of contracts.

· Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions related to contracts.

· Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible for audits and reviews.

· Generate periodic and ad-hoc reports on contract financial status for management.

· Perform other duties as needed.

 

What you have: 

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

· 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

What you're good at: 

· Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.

· Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

· Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

· High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.

· Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
