Sales & Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in tenant improvement projects for fire sprinkler systems. Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, property developers, architects, engineers, and building owners. Conduct meetings and presentations with potential clients to understand their needs and provide customized fire sprinkler solutions. Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and quotes for fire sprinkler installations and retrofits. Negotiate terms and close deals while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction. Project Management & Coordination: Collaborate with internal project managers and design teams to develop accurate estimates and timely project schedules. Monitor project progress to ensure that fire sprinkler installations meet design specifications, local codes, and timelines. Address any client concerns or changes during the execution of projects to ensure customer satisfaction. Market & Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, local building codes, and fire protection regulations. Understand and communicate the benefits of different fire sprinkler system types (wet, dry, pre-action, etc.) and how they apply to various tenant improvement environments. Client Relationship Management: Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and explore future business opportunities. Provide ongoing support and advice to clients regarding fire protection system maintenance and upgrades. Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, contacts, and leads in the CRM system. Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales, with a focus on tenant improvement projects, construction, or fire protection systems (preferably fire sprinklers). Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, design, installation, and code compliance (NFPA, local fire codes). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to fire protection systems. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). A network of industry contacts within the construction and fire protection sectors is highly desirable. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with building codes and regulations specific to tenant improvement projects. Previous experience working with general contractors, property managers, and architects. Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems beyond sprinklers (fire alarms, extinguishers, etc.). Relevant certifications (NICET, FM Global, etc.) are a plus.

Pay and Benefits Disclosure 

The budgeted pay range for this role as of November 2024 is $40,000.00 – $85,000.00. This range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to tenure, previous experience, qualifications, certifications, and geographic considerations.
