Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contract Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to oversee procurement-related claims, resolving disputes with suppliers or contractors, ensuring compliance with contract terms, and managing claims settlements to minimize costs and risks.
What You'll Be Doing:
Claims Management: Oversee the management of procurement-related claims, including disputes, warranty issues, and contract performance problems, ensuring that claims are resolved in a timely manner.Contractual Compliance: Ensure that all procurement activities comply with contract terms and conditions, regulatory requirements, and company policies, addressing any procurement-related issues or disputes that arise.Dispute Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for handling claims and disputes between the company, suppliers, and contractors, negotiating settlements and solutions to minimize costs and risks.Procurement Oversight: Supervise the procurement process to ensure that all goods, services, and materials are acquired efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with company requirements.Supplier Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring that claims and disputes are managed professionally and that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of claims, settlements, and procurement transactions, preparing regular reports on claim status, resolution timelines, and financial impacts.Risk Management: Identify risks related to procurement claims and implement strategies to mitigate potential financial and operational impacts.Budget Control: Monitor procurement budgets and ensure that claims and settlements do not exceed allocated costs, optimizing cost control in all procurement activities.What Required Skill's You'll Bring:
