Contract Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Engineer to join our team in Dunedin. This role is pivotal in delivering contract requirements, optimizing resources, and ensuring project success. If you have a strong background in engineering, project management, and contract administration, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Develop project methodology budgets, and programs for construction, maintenance, sealing and surfacing Work closely with estimators to prepare accurate estimates and tenders for contracts and variations  Manage assigned contracts efficiently, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, timelines and financial targets Oversee project execution, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental standards are met Maintain strong client relationships and stakeholder engagement to facilitate successful project delivery Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes

To be successful in this role, you will need: 

A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field  Proven experience in contract management, project delivery, and financial oversight  Experience in surfacing, sealing, or pavement construction would be advantageous Strong relationship management and negotiation skills. A commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance
