CONTRACT COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

Summary

The position specialized with overseeing the following: contract quality, contract compliance, analyze and responses to contract questions, other related contract records and data relating to National and Government contract matters in a professional and timely manner.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

List the primary essential job duties and responsibilities.

Monitor and evaluate contracts, subcontracts, invoices, purchase requisitions, and other documentation for compliance with customer and company’s policies Maintains all related contract files including annual reviews, updates, and dissemination of revised(amended) contract requirements.Assists with various levels of management engagement in contract review, implementation, and other contract management activities.  Prioritizes workload to meet the needs of the department, ensuring that contract deadlines and contract compliance requirements are met. Keep Supervisor informed on all issues and potential issues.Prepare and edit documents between the company and customers including, updated vendor forms, change orders, customer portal registrations, etc.Prepare contract change noticesRespond to current and potential customers’ due diligence requests, including completing questionnaires, providing documentation, invoices questions, etc.Track authorizations and correspondence.Maintain an audit file for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications include:

Associate degree or 3-5 years of work experience in a similar roleExcellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skillsStrong data entry skills and high degree of accuracy Strong data entry skills and high degree of accuracyAdvanced in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AdobeSelf-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once; ability to follow directions.Work well in a fast pace, team environment while demonstrating a professional demeanorBe able to adapt to work under pressure and short timelines

Working Conditions

Works between an office and plant environment with Exposure to varying degrees of temperatures and noise.Ability to travel less than 5% of the time including overnight stays. 

Physical Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, ability to climb stairsAttendance - The ability to work as scheduled with punctual attendance, Monday-Friday plus any additional hours/days necessary to meet business demands.Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
