Job Description

PCG is seeking an experienced Contract Administration Manager for its Corporate Legal Department operations based in Lenexa, Kansas. This individual will review, revision and negotiation of contracts for complex scope and/or high-dollar contracts, and supervise the work of direct reports.

 

Essential Functions:

Identify, analyze and summarize contract risk points as they relate to a wide variety of scopes of workConduct complex contract negotiations with third-party customersOversee the processing of contract documents to ensure that operations understands and authorize contract termsInitiate and oversee special projects in furtherance of operational collaboration and educationServe as the principal contract liaison between operations, corporate departments and outside customersPlan, develop, and conduct presentations for training purposes on a variety of topics; both remotely and in-person at branch locationsSupervise the work of others and mentor subordinate members of the department in accordance with their developmental aspirations and goalsDevelop and tracks key metrics in order to improve performance outcomes for the departmentPreform other related work as assigned Requirements

Basic Requirements:

10 years experience in construction contract administration, management, evaluation, or related fieldGraduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business, law, or a related field, or comperable work experienceAbility to travel 20% annuallyHighly skilled in developing contracts3-5 years of experience in a position of leadership with direct reportsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and task managementAbility to adapt and have fexibility in a fast-paced work environmentAbility to adhere to the highest standards of safety and qualityAbility to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions, to analyze complex information to interpret complex data; to effectively demonstrate negotiationKnowledge of risk mitigation strategiesGreat ability to facilitate trainings and highly skilled in public speakingAbility to create engaging content for said trainingsExtreme attention to detail

Preferred Requirements:

Prior experience in the field of construction; law; risk management preferredExperience utilizing AI to streamline processesLocal to the Kansas City Metro area
