As a Continuous Improvement Supervisor, you will:

The role of the UK Continuous improvement Supervisor is to support the compounding site CI leads to supervise and improve organisational processes with the aim of making them as efficient as possible increasing capacity and decrease costs.Apply lean principles and problem-solving tools with high energy to map workflows, cut waste, support operations, and inspire change.Collaborate with the site UMT to identify and drive, CI and ensure sustainability.Deliver Kaizen and Margin Improvement project workshops establishing measurable standards at the start of a project and compare actual project results against these, regularly generating detailed update reports for the Unit Manager.Lead, sustain and improve the scrap reduction projects UK wide.Collaborate with Scrap champions from all UK sites and share standard methodologies.Present monthly scrap report to members of EMEA SLT as the need arises.Support the PI manager in the implementation of the Baxter Operating System.Own the development, implementation, and sustainment of visual management and 6S program across the UK compounding units.Lead and Support A3 investigations.Own project overview meetings and support the unit where required to ensure progression and completion of key projects.Support Quality investigations and CAPA implementation where requiredSupport with Change Controls were required.

Continuous improvement supervisors are highly analytical and experienced with project coordination with confidence in your abilities to lead organisational change. Using their problem-solving skills to foresee obstacles and make strategic decisions. They are also excellent mentors who can clearly express complex ideas.

Technical expertise – A firm understanding of compounding processes and process improvement techniques and with experience applying these to make organisational changes.Organisation skills – continuous improvement supervisors spearhead both the planning and implementation stages of projects, so they must be organised and committed to meeting deadlinesLeadership skills – continuous improvement supervisors are coaches and company innovators, encouraging other team members to give their best effort and setting the direction for many initiativesAnalytical thinking – A sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organisational structures, critically evaluate individual processes and projects, then synthesize their insights to arrive at improvement actions.Communication skills – The ability to speak, listen, and write well is important, as continuous improvement supervisors often hold presentations, facilitate meetings and trainings, and create reports
