Arconic is currently in search of a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team in Davenport, IA.

The Continuous Improvement Specialist teaches, coaches, and provides lean manufacturing tools and skills to the organization to drive continuous improvement through partnership with the organization, eliminates waste, and enables sustaining processes and systems while supporting the Continuous Improvement Manager. The role proactively promotes and practices lean manufacturing, and will act as a leader for continuous improvement in areas assigned, including::

Assist in collecting data and preparing and developing improvement projects at the Plant and department/area levels. Coach and work together with organization leaders in sustaining and utilizing the continuous improvement and Reliability Excellence (REX) and other improvement systems. Proactively assist in leading and maintaining plant focus on methodology and philosophy. Assist in sharing learnings between the areas within the plant and transferring knowledge from other sites within and outside the plant. Develop own personal continuous improvement and REX skills, and actively participate in teaching and coaching the rest of the plant in continuous improvement training programs. Lead large events including the annual business planning cycle.
