Continuous Improvement Manager

What you will do-

The Continuous Improvement Manager will lead projects dedicated to improving operational productivity and processes for the manufacturing facility in Arlington, TN. The key responsibility of this role will be to manage the transformational initiative to reduce costs and to identify and implement process improvements in all areas of the manufacturing process. This will require working cross-functionally with teams as well as managing projects designed to achieve the lowest overall costs and improve processes using Lean Methodology.

Drive the development, assessment, recommendations, and implementation of continuous improvement/re-engineering initiatives to simplify processes, eliminate waste, reduce operational risk and achieve cost efficiencies in the Arlington manufacturing processDevelop a customer-focused CI framework that documents and monitors performances. Support initiatives through robust data driven analyticsTrain and mentor designated teams and individuals within the business on LEAN concepts and support the business to meet/exceed budgetsProvides management support to remove barriers and facilitate conflict resolution in matrix organizationTracks and measures the CI program through leveraging the Stryker Production System and visual factory dashboardsIdentify, manage and drive cost improvement initiatives measured in dollars saved across the businessPartners with local management to define relevant process KPI’s including ownership and variable that serve as the KPI inputsDrive the 3 to 5 years site strategy

What you need-

BA/BS degree in Business, Operations, Finance, IT or related field - requiredSix (8) years of experience with defining and executing continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing - requiredHands on experience on site CI transformationProficient in MS OfficeLean Leader/Six Sigma certification - preferredProject Management skills (certification preferred)Ability to work in team-oriented environment and creating strong alliancesAbility to manage multiple projectsPrior med device industry experience - preferred

Travel Percentage: 10%
