The Impact You’ll Make in this Role The person hired for the position of Global Continuous Improvement Leader, will use tools and methodologies to enhance our main KPIs related to business and financial performance by systematically responding to customer needs, enhance service level, improving portfolio mix, growing market share and impacting pricing and gross margin performance. This leader will oversee operational excellence, generating appropriate visibility of business projects working with divisional team and other support areas. Here, you will make an impact by: + Leading and supporting projects that have high impact on business results. + Conduct control plans and monitoring appropriate metrics to validate project results are achieved, track improvements, control and sustain gains. + Lead projects to connect with different stakeholders in the company looking for enhancing processes to impact positively on division results. + Lead the hopper process in support of Process Owners and Champions. + Influence the organization cross-functionally and leading management of change activities. + Consistently seeking, sharing, and implementing best practices. + Teaching, mentoring and coaching team members to optimize functioning of lean process models. + Looking for applicability of tools and methods to areas outside of current focus. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution + Prior experience leading Black Belt Projects and/or Black Belt Certification + Ten (10) years of experience in business P&L, project improvements and/or service performance management in a private, public, industrial, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: + High Potential Code in your current or recent Employee Performance Review + Demonstration of Cultural Elements + Effective facilitation, communication, leadership and teaching skills to work with multidisciplinary team.
