Consumer Loan Processor II
About The Role SUMMARY: Responsible for processing and servicing of consumer loans, including Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC), auto loans and other consumer loans offered by the Division. Obtains loan request packages from Branch staff and completes the processing of the loan request from origination to funding. Service requests for management of the consumer loan portfolio and other related requests will also be processed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receives completed applications from branch staff and reviews loan packages for completeness and accuracy. Organize files and complete compliance and processing worksheets. Update consumer loan pipeline reports and other reports as directed. Input and maintain “Data Entry” functions in Decision Pro or other consumer processing origination system. Review and send any disclosures required to loan applicant. Work with Credit Analyst or Consumer Loan Manager to obtain credit analysis and approvals for consumer loans Prepare appraisal order request or order appraisal via appraisal management company Order title report and work with title officer to obtain required information. Verify completion of required compliance processing and documentation per Glacier Bank policy Work directly with Branch staff to obtain any additional information required. Work with “Doc Generation” staff for documentation and review documents for completeness. Assist with loan file maintenance call back, as backup, as needed. Insurance tracking and flood tracking for consumer and other loans as needed Perform job functions in compliance with all company policies, federal and state rules and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, ECOA/Reg B, HMDA, CRA, FHLB, OFAC, and GLBA/privacy rules About You QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma and three or more years of related experience. Prior financial industry experience, in a loan department, preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY: Must possess a mastery of the loan process and thorough knowledge of consumer loan compliance regulations Must have the ability to work in a professional and confidential manner Excellent organizational and time management skills Possess a high degree of investigative, analytical skills – be detail orientated Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes. This job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
