SUMMARY

The Associate Consumer Finance Specialist will execute the Alternative Finance Program which works on sales opportunities that were initially turned down and get them financed through coordination with sales representatives and sales managers in the field, the customer, and lending institutions.

Expected schedule is Saturday through Wednesday, 12PM to 8PM CST, MST, or PST

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Pull the consumer's credit report, analyze, and determine the next steps including which lender to send the application to. Update the workflow system on the status and enter the next action notes. Communicate to customers, sales reps, and retailers when a customer does not qualify.For qualified customers, enter the application into the lender's system and check on the status of the lender's decision. Update the workflow system on the status and enter the next action notes. Then communicate to the customer, sales rep, and consumer finance specialist the status of the application and next steps.Following up with approved customers by phone to deliver finance terms and any stipulations, answering questions, and overcoming customer objections in order for the sale to move forward. This also includes discussing applications with and influencing lenders to approve the customer.Gather up the appropriate documents to complete the loan, and ensure loans are signed in a timely manner. Send all documents and/or information to lender to finish processing. Update the workflow system on the status of the application and any issues. Then communicate to the customer, sales rep, retailer and consumer finance specialist as appropriate.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Associate degree or equivalent experience3 years of relatable experience (consumer finance experience or sales/inside sales/call center experienceAptitude to quickly learn and apply technical aspects of consumer finance.Demonstrated ability to overcome objections, negotiate positive outcomes, and present a positive company image.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong computer/data entry skills

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
