Job Description:

At Regions, the Consumer Banking Manager provides leadership and direction of sales, service, and operational excellence for Branch Managers in their respective area. This position serves as a manager, coach, and mentor, and ensures that teams are meeting and exceeding branch sales, quality, and service goals while maintaining operationally efficient and compliant branches.

Primary Responsibilities

Leads a small area or market of branches responsible for contributing to new revenue generation through identifying customer needs and providing appropriate guidance and perspective about Regions solutionsResponsible for overall branch performance and business results within their respective areaCoaches and manages Branch Managers on increasing employee participation in daily activities, and incorporating the Regions 360 process daily in the retail bankProvides guidance and coaching on sales performance and skills development of the branch sales teams in their areaDevelops and implements short and long range operational and sales goals and ensures goals are met or exceededEvaluates branch effectiveness and ensures branches maintain high levels of service quality, associate engagement, and are compliant with all regulations, bank policies, procedures, and internal audit requirementsPromotes and executes retail growth strategy while at the same time optimizing efficiency to meet budget expectations and other key performance indicatorsEstablishes a solid presence and positive profile in the community that reinforces the bank’s strong brand image

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GEDSeven (7) years of Financial Services, sales, or sales management experience

Preferences

College degreeExperience in leading and managing sales teams within a Financial Services industryBanking and/or lending experienceRelationship-based client consultation experience

Skills and Competencies

Ability to execute business plansAbility to exhibit mastery of key advice, guidance, and education conceptsAbility to provide effective feedback and guidanceAbility to handle multiple priorities simultaneouslyExcellent communication and customer service skillsExcellent leadership and problem-solving skills

Strongly prefer candidates who have experience:

-Managing a minimum of 10 banking centers.

-Managing a deposit portfolio balance in excess of $500MM.

-Working in the greater Atlanta Metro market.

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Median:

$126,010.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn incentives based on performance against defined metrics and goals.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
