Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Consulting Telecommunications Analyst for the Office of Information Technology. This position will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing these services to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability across our infrastructure.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

Provides technical leadership within EI, OIT organizations, and IT partners in the University in the planning and implementation of complex concepts and/or projects requiring significant expertise. Participates on teams within the university to address technological issues and regulations, performs the analysis of vendor supplied software and hardware, then determines the optimum configuration for interfaces between hardware and application systems. Promotes processes, through automation, advocating for changes that improve reliability and agility. Engages in and improve the lifecycle’s for both service delivery infrastructure and its supporting services. Maintains, monitors and improves systems and services for NOA and Enterprise Infrastructure. Shares and disseminates knowledge among other staff and researchers.
