Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Senior in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud; may perform design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Operating Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Drive aspects of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which may include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations of urgent issues. Design and develop data governance standards, roles, and responsibilities; design data conversion strategies and facilitate data conversion, mapping, and cleansing workshops to support the clients’ conversion to Cloud. Perform assessments of existing information systems, identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the components in the design.
• 50% Travel required nationally

• Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Driving implementations of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker, ASP.NET Core, C# Angular, and ReactJS;
• Converting legacy data according to current system’s data structure utilizing data warehouse tools, including SQL Server, Oracle, AWS Redshift, PostgreSQL, AWS Simple Storage Service (S3);
• Tracking application defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing Jira;
• Performing implementation and integration of Cloud-based solutions utilizing Azure, AWS, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines;
• Driving aspects of Digital Transformation projects and workstreams, including monitoring and identifying project issues in order to mitigate risks;
• Working across all phases of the Agile Lifecycle to design, develop, test, and implement cloudbased applications, utilizing AWS S3, AWS Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), AWS Lambda, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Virtual Machines (VM) for enterprise-level clients;
• Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs, utilizing Amazon RDS Performance Insights and Grafana; and
• Utilizing NUnit and xUnit.net to support and perform Integration Testing and Unit Testing to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week.
