The Role
Veeva is a California-based leading cloud solutions provider for the life sciences industry. Veeva made a big push into Shanghai in 2011, and the booming success of Veeva China is due to the company's product success and focus on employee success.
This role will be producing deliverables throughout the full lifecycle delivery of the Veeva application to a wide range of Life Sciences clients. Most time you will have responsibilities for requirement analysis and solution design of the project.What You'll DoServing as the critical bridge between internal and external product stakeholders and software development teamsGathering business and technical requirements in a manner that drives the right conversations upfront to meet needs while limiting reworkPossessing business and technical knowledge to communicate effectively with customersHaving an analytical mind to ensure they have a complete picture of the client's software needsManaging relationships with clients and stakeholders with strong negotiation skillsActing as a liaison with end-user clients during the development of software requirements, designs, and test proceduresPossessing excellent problem solving and analytical skills to provide optimal solutionsWriting and maintaining useful documentation for both technical and non-technical audiencesHelping create Requirement Traceability Matrices from test procedures back to requirements and customer specificationsDelivering implementation solutions in the fields of commercial life science, such as analysis of customer requirements, providing proposals to resolve the customer demands in the delivery process, or support team in the pre-sales phase.RequirementsA bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science or Life Science Industry3+ years experience in the Life Sciences5+ years experience in customer-facing and business analyst experienceKnowledge of the product implementation processStrong customer service skills and communication skillsOpen-minded and team spirit; excellent innovation capabilitySmart and eager to learn new things, ability to work independently in a fast-moving environmentNegotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationshipsCommercial and business awarenessGood communication skills – both written and verbal in EnglishA keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into dataAbility to stick to time constraintsExcellent facilitator and communicatorFamiliar with agile processes and how to work well with a scrum teamNice to HaveExperience in CRM products/solutionsExperience in WeChat Implementation Project ManagementPerks & BenefitsChristmas HolidayVeeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
