Inviting applications for the role of Consultant – ESG reporting
In this role, you’ll be part of conducting ESG risks and opportunity analysis and will be responsible for the task listed below.
Responsibilities
Stay up to date on industry trends and reporting frameworks and regulations.
Manage the implementation of consulting, training, and bespoke mandates on ESG data management, reporting and audit.
Qualitative and quantitative research and analysis using ESG data.
Analyze financial impact of ESG issues on Financial reporting.
Discuss the reports with various stakeholders within the client organizations.
Performing audit and assurance procedures in ESG related areas - process reviews, standard operating procedures internal control assessments for ESG reporting.
Assistance in developing appropriate disclosures in accordance with approved ESG reporting standards and frameworks.
Preparation of sustainability briefings, strategy, action planning and public sustainability reports.
Providing direction, mentorship, and support to junior staff in areas of your expertise.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate / Post graduate qualification in sustainability-related fields
MBA, CA, CFE, CIA, or CISA a plus.
Professional with good hands-on experience from a top-tier consulting firm, or corporate role driving ESG-related initiatives including ESG research, ESG strategy preparation or consulting, ESG data management, reporting, control design, testing and audits.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Knowledge of ESG reporting standards and regulations, GHG protocol, ESG KPI’s along with associated data requirements and assurance requirements
Robust interpersonal skills
Robust written and presentational skills; ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences.
Possess high standard of integrity and confidentiality.
Good written communication skills including documentation of findings and recommendations
Position requires the ability to conduct compliance, operational and / or financial audits from start to finish. This includes drafting of audit program, conducting kick-off meetings, walkthroughs, design assessment, testing operational effectiveness, conducting project close meetings, and drafting the written report.
Excellent planning and organization skills
Robust understanding of the risk, audit, and controllership domain
