Klick Consulting is seeking a high performing, high achieving and passionate Consultant with a focus on strategic design to join our growing team. Klick Consulting works alongside clients and their businesses to improve patient outcomes in healthcare by providing innovation and digital guidance to global clients operating across health, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices and biotech. Headquartered in Toronto, the team is made up of experts in a variety of disciplines, from business strategy to behavioral science to AI/Machine Learning.

Title: Consultant, Strategic DesignLocation: Toronto As a Consultant on the Klick Consulting team with a specific focus on strategic design, you will be responsible for:Using user-centered research, strategic thinking, and design techniques to help clients realize business solutions to their challengesLeading and overseeing the creation of design artifactsSupporting project planning, scoping, and management of designCommunicating work to clients and Klick LeadershipSupporting development and delivery of strategic design work in senior client meetingsParticipating in and leading customer and expert interviewsCommunicating critical insights visually and verballyCollaborating with team members across a range of disciplinesEngaging directly with a variety of clients across the health sector, ranging from privately held businesses to publicly traded multinational corporations Requirements:4+ years’ experience in strategic design, interdisciplinary design, design thinking or related practices (experience in a consulting environment is preferred)Academic experience in a related field is an asset (e.g. MBA in design strategy, Master in Design Management, Master in strategic design, Master in Biomedical Communication)Experience in design research through ethnography interviews, literature review or precedent researchExpertise in leading concept ideationExperience in design planning through ideation workshops, test design, requirement engineering, and other relevant activitiesExperience in prototyping, service design, future thinking/foresightingExperience in relevant design software, e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Microsoft OfficeDeep domain knowledge of at least one design discipline (e.g. graphic design, industrial design, interaction design) A portfolio that highlights relevant expertise through approach or deliverablesComfortable leading and participating in co-creational ideation and design exercisesExcellent communication skills and high level of comfort presenting ideasAble to travel to the United States as needed for client projectsIf you are interested in this opportunity, if possible please include a portfolio, samples or link to a personal website with relevant examples.
