This position is on the Enterprise Profile Management team in Enterprise Internet & Mobility (EIM) BSA. The team supports an application suite that provides several foundational digital capabilities that are shared across all digital channels (web, mobile, chat, voice) and involves several mission critical applications including Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), Customer Account Management (CAM), Preference Center, and Customer Online Account Support Tool (COAST). EPM Applications are supported by three agile development lines that are focused on modernizing the existing capabilities as well as building new, innovative solutions using the latest technologies. This is an individual contributor outside the line Application Suite Tech Lead developer role that will play a key leadership and delivery role in planning, developing, and deploying Digital Products.
Technical Skills
Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of software development principles and coding best practices.
Full stack development experience
Knowledgeable in front-end web development technologies and techniques
Java, Spring Boot and Angular development
DevOps & Cloud - Apigee, AWS (Rancher / Kubernetes), GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Harness, CI/CD Pipeline
Technology depth and experience with designing, building, and supporting APIs.
Non-Technical Skills
Ability to look at the big picture at the EPM Valu stream level.
Make sure solutions that teams build is all fitting into the EPM ecosystem.
Outside the line Tech Lead helping coordinate across the three EPM lines.
Help provide information on EPM Suite of Applications during the Discovery phase for other Application Areas.
Collaborate with Line Tech Leads and Product Architect.
Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to help drive the best technical direction and decision making.

Responsible for applying secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to a Technology Manager/Director.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, mathematics or related field is strongly preferred.
Experience: Six years of experience in programming and systems analysis. Three years of experience in project management is preferred.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Hands-on technical leadership experience leading project teams and setting technical direction. Proficiency in one programming language such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript. Knowledge of software development lifecycle. Proven ability to tackle sophisticated business and development problems. Ability to thrive in a team environment. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and Human Resources Business Partner.
