**Job Title: Construction Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a motivated and reliable Construction Technician to join our team. This role involves installing HVAC systems in new residential construction, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or advance their career in the construction industry. Experience in outdoor work and a willingness to learn are essential for this position. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload tools and materials at the construction site. + Measure distances with a tape measure. + Use hand and power tools efficiently. + Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites using shears, hammers, punches, or drills. + Maintain personal and company tools and equipment. + Utilize mastic on ductwork. + Install Flex Duct/Register Boots in building attics. + Perform other related tasks as required. **Essential Skills** + Previous outdoor work experience and comfortability working in all weather conditions. + Reliability and the ability to drive directly to job sites each day. + Ability to use a tape measure and learn quickly to use one. + Willingness to learn construction skills and retain knowledge about HVAC. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Any construction experience is preferred but not required. + Any certifications are preferred but not required. + Ability to take direction well from the Project Manager. + Ability to work professionally with a crew on-site. **Why Work Here?** This is a great opportunity to gain experience and build a career with a reputable HVAC contractor. You must be comfortable working with a crew of 4-6 people. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with optional Saturdays. Overtime is always offered for installers. Contractors must wear their own work boots and appropriate clothing, though steel toes are not required. All other PPE (hard hat, vest, gloves, glasses, hearing protection) will be provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sewickley, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
