Construction Solicitor (non-contentious) - 4-8 PQE - leading international firm - Birmingham A leading international firm is looking to bolster its already strong construction offering in Birmingham with the addition of an experienced non-contentious Construction Solicitor at the 4-8 PQE level. The work is complex and high quality and includes local, national and international construction, engineering and infrastructure projects. Flexible working environment and market topping salary and bonus applies. The Role As a Construction Solicitor in this team, your responsibilities will include: * Advising on on all standard forms of UK contracts including NEC4, JCT as well as international forms such as FIDIC and bespoke EPC contracts. * Managing and developing relationships with clients from a broad range of sectors including energy, waste management, infrastructure, real estate regeneration and development. * Networking and taking part in business development opportunities. * Some cross over into construction disputes may be possible depending on candidate skill set. Candidate Requirements To be successful in your application for this Construction Solicitor position, you will have: * 4-8 years' PQE in construction law (with a focus on non-contentious construction matters) from a reputable regional, national or international law firm or otherwise from industry. * Excellent knowledge of construction law backed up by strong technical skills. * International experience. * The ability to get along with clients and colleagues. * The ability to support and mentor junior lawyers. * A commercial attitude, a confident and proactive approach and proven success in business development, perhaps already building a strong network of your own. * The drive and ability to deliver high-quality work.
