Construction Record Keeper
What You Will Do:

Our Texas team is currently looking for a Construction Record Keeper to join our growing team!

 

This position can be based out of any of our Texas offices

 

This role collaborates closely with CEI staff to oversee construction project documentation. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing related paperwork, updating contract documents to account for modifications to original agreements, and ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations. The position also involves calculating payments due to contractors for completed work, coordinating with construction inspectors and contractor personnel, and providing training to fellow employees. This position entails public interaction and requires the ability to work independently with little supervision.


Responsibilities:

Will attend pre-construction meetings.Monitors contractors’ compliance with Federal and State requirements.Monitors Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) programs.Prepares and submits monthly and final estimates; checks calculations to verify work is completed before payment is made.Performs calculations using algebra.Prepares and types correspondence, reports, and supporting documentsSets up and maintain Project files for each construction project assigned.Extensive Knowledge of SiteManager, Diversity Management Systems, LCP Tracker and ProjectWise.Knowledge of Monitoring Material Deficiencies.Trains less experienced record keepers and Inspectors.Audit other record keeper’s projects for compliance and accuracy.Coordinate with Inspector, Engineer and TxDOT Area Office daily.Create and assist Engineers with change orders.Monitor all SW3P Requirements.Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.Education | Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:
