Job Title: Sr. Construction Project Manager

Job Description:

Join our dynamic team specializing in the construction of cutting-edge manufacturing facilities for the pharmaceutical, biotech, and animal health industries. As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you'll lead high-impact projects across the Southeast, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You'll collaborate closely with the Project Director and Senior Project Manager, guiding our engineering, construction management, and superintendent teams to achieve excellence. This role demands a robust construction background, unwavering commitment to safety and quality, and a strong focus on client engagement.

Responsibilities:Master the prime contract requirements and apply that knowledge to all project activitiesSupport the Project Manager in developing and maintaining preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans.Facilitate seamless communication among project participants.Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and other essential documents.Aid in the procurement and coordination of all necessary project resources.Gather and manage scheduling information from subcontractors, vendors, and design professionals.Understand and monitor the project budget, identifying potential exposures throughout the project lifecycle.Assist in managing change control systems and policies.Ensure quality assurance by understanding and enforcing contractually required standards in design and construction.Oversee design content, quality, and coordinate revisions for constructability and compliance.Review all shop drawings and submittals.Ensure project documents are properly distributed, reviewed, and stored to meet both project and corporate requirements.Essential Skills:Over 10 years of experience in project delivery or a related field.Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar construction projects.OSHA 30 certification or the ability to obtain it.Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.Experience in manufacturing/industrial construction.Expertise in constructing pharmaceutical, biotech, and/or life science facilities.Excellent communication skills with teams and clients.Strong team-building abilities.Exceptional work ethic.Additional Skills + Qualifications:Construction managementClient managementRFI managementChange order managementClient coordinationDesign experienceKnowledge of electrical and mechanical engineeringProject engineering experienceWork Environment:

This role is based on-site at a manufacturing facility, involving coordination with various teams and stakeholders. You'll ensure safety protocols are followed and manage construction activities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Professional attire suitable for construction site visits is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00
