Your role.Your work will include, but not be limited to:Enhance relationships with existing clientsParticipate in preparing and submitting proposals for new work; Develop, distribute and coordinate RFQ’s and RFP’s for professional services and constructorsResponsible for monitoring and leading multiple projects of varying scope and scale simultaneously to ensure budgetary and scheduling restrictions are adhered to and comply with stated objectives.Attend and participate in meetings with the Client, Architect, Constructors, and other professional service firmsPrepare and make presentations to Clients as requested for projects in progressEnsure implementation and compliance of P&M and PMR policies and procedures on projectsEffectively interact and communicate with all levels of management and support staff.
The qualifications. Engineering Degree, Architecture Degree or Construction Management Degree from an accredited college or university5-8 years building, design and construction experience in the following areas: project management, architecture/planning, engineering, or construction fieldExperience working for an Owner’s Facility Team or as a consultant is preferredConstruction cost estimating experience is desirableProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project and/or Primavera Scheduling Software; Familiarity with BIMQualified individuals must either reside in or near Metro Detroit or be willing to relocate for this opportunityFrequent travel throughout the region, with approximately 20% overnight travel
