Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various physical labor tasks to support construction activities under supervision. This role involves working closely with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure project requirements are met efficiently.

ResponsibilitiesExecute assigned tasks and activities under supervision.Collaborate with Superintendents and Foremen to understand jobsite requirements.Engage in physical labor to support jobsite clean-up, rough carpentry, site logistics, fencing, deck and platform construction, protection systems, and waste management.Operate various equipment, including forklifts, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, compactors, and construction hoists.Gather and transport materials as needed.Perform selective demolition tasks.Conduct daily inspections of the project perimeter for security and cleanliness.Assist in the construction of scaffolding.Perform fire watch duties when required.Provide support to other craft trade workers as necessary.Essential SkillsConstructionLaborCarpentryConcreteGeneral laborHand toolPower toolCleaningTape measureAdditional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 6 months of general construction industry experienceBasic knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction or repair of buildings or other structuresAbility to accurately measure lengths with ruler or tapeAbility to take direction, follow instructions, and work with supervisionWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

This position requires working Monday through Saturday from 7AM to 5PM. The work involves physical labor in various weather conditions and requires adherence to safety protocols. Dress code includes appropriate construction attire and safety gear.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
