We are seeking a Construction Insulation Coordinator to join our team in Boise, ID! We are responsible for coordinating all aspects of an assigned project while working in a team environment with contracted services and other construction and engineering subject areas. In addition, our team ensures each project is completed within scope, on schedule and within budget. As a Facilities Coordinator, you will play a meaningful role in ensuring detailed execution of construction projects, with a specific focus on Insulation of HVAC, and Piping systems. The Insulation Coordinator is responsible for supervising and coordinating insulation projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves planning, scheduling, and managing insulation activities, as well as collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and other team members!
Responsibilities:Complete safety training and follow safety policies.Stop work if unsafe conditions are identified; review job hazard analysis.Follow safety procedures, including PPE and chemical safety.Resolve safety and quality issues promptly; report EHS concerns within 24 hours.Perform audits and wear appropriate PPE.Lead quality improvement initiatives; ensure compliance with guidelines.Troubleshoot systems; review designs for safety and quality.Ensure workers have proper training and certifications.Partner with customers to improve metrics; coordinate on issues and changes.Provide high-level service; demonstrate collaboration skills.Seek and provide feedback; generate ideas for strategic objectives.Participate in meetings; collaborate on performance goals.Communicate daily priorities, partner in data collection and improvement.Guide less experienced team members; collaborate on construction projects.Work with regulatory groups on projects.Use project management methodology; ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget.Supervise actions; lead multi-disciplinary projects.Communicate project status; prepare project scope with customer input.Collaborate with consultants; lead meetings and follow-up actions.Address problems; support cost and schedule estimates.Perform cost estimates and forecasts; coordinate project schedules.Supervise spending trends; lead construction contracts.Be responsible for projects from start to finish.Analyze data to improve performance and drive cost savings; provide guidance for issue resolution.Support risk analysis; eliminate single points of failure.Provide technical support; identify gaps and opportunities for efficiencies.Lead benchmark activities; maintain subject area knowledge.Support TPM culture; use databases for job tracking.Incorporate safety controls in design; anticipate production issues.Be responsible for construction staff; ensure project quality.Provide cash flow projections and status reports.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED2+ years of experience in Construction Coordination & project estimating.1+ years of experience managing or coordinating construction projects with a focus on insulation systems within a commercial or industrial setting.1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products.Interpersonal Skills - interpersonal communicator, negotiator, collaborator, analytical, problem solver, detail oriented, organized, critical thinkerPreferred Qualifications:Degree, Training, or Certification in either Insulation or Construction Management.5+ years of experience within a construction coordination role supporting insulation systems/insulation projects.1+ years of experience within the semiconductor industryAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
