S./M.S. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering + Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy construction industry + Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance / quality control (QA/QC) management position, working on the projects for agencies such as MTA, PANYNJ, NYCDEP, + Quality-related certifications such as ASQ, ISO 9001 Lead Quality Auditor, or equivalent + Experience in implementation of the Quality Management System and the project-specific Quality Plans + Ability to read and clearly understand the contract drawings and technical specifications + Ability to effectively communicate and resolve the Quality-related matters + Ability to conduct internal Quality audits and subcontractor/supplier evaluations + Reasonable physical ability to self-perform some inspections and testing (such as structural bolting, ) + Experience in verifying that all subcontractor/supplier work meets requirements of the contract documents and applicable + Ability to manage the third-party inspection and testing agencies + Availability to travel within our work area, accommodating multi-shift and weekend work schedule + Strong motivation to effectively perform the job duties We are looking for a team player.
