Job Title: Construction Foreman

Location: Wellington, Western Cape

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to join our team our client’s in the Wellington area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and construction, with a focus on managing and supervising construction projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow Supervise and train construction crew members, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety regulations Ensure compliance with all building codes and regulations Manage materials and equipment inventory, ordering supplies as needed Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and budgets

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or national diploma in civil engineering or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards Proficient in using construction management software Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
